Must be at least a dozen differant engine brackets to be found on a 120Y,same goes for a 1200 ute!
Plus unless you put a location in your account you'll get nowhere

Ok i am after 120y brackets as shown in attached pictures as i noticed my a14 was sitting to high and biased to the left hand side it seems that the right hand side bracket is the problem and searching this site found these pics which show difference the top bracket is the 120y and the lower is the one i had on the a14 1981 1200 ute
thanks for your responce rocky

So you want a Datsun 1200 engine mount bracket. Using a 120Y bracket in a Datsun 1200 will make it sit too high.

A14s were not standard fitment to Datsun 1200 utes -- not in Japan, nor in Australia. So someone swapped the engine, and didn't use the original 1200 engine mounts, but used the ones from the donor car. The beefier mount in the photo looks like a B310 Sunny mount.

A14 and A12 use the same mounts. The ones you need are for the Datsun 1200 vehicle, which will bolt to either engine.

I've been researching this, and while I still think you need the 1200 mounts to match the year of your 1200, I'm not sure about the photo.

See details here: Tech: Engine Mounts

It doesn't matter which engine you have (A12 or A14), what matters is the year of the crossmember (early or late) and the year of the engine (early or late).

with the 1200 mounts u will just run into the same problem with the deck sitting too high. The 1200 sedan we had in the shop had mounts from the A14 engine but the brackets were mounted on the opposite side of the motor.
Hopefully this helped.

1200 sedan has early type crossmember
A14 is late type.
when you mix and match, it is an engine swap and mods are needed.

But if you have a 1980 ute and 1980 A14 engine, it just bolts right in, no mods needed

Rocky, what year is your Datsun 1200? Is it early (1970-1973) or late (1974-1994)? And does it have the original crossmember or has it been changed?

Or somebody just give him some 120Y engine mount brackets If the 1200 ute has the late crossmember they will work.
