gday fello datto lovers

slight prob just got my datto running again and all of a sudden hello i cant see out the back window as there was a #OOPS# load of white smoke what could cause this ? any idea please help and does any one have an A15 engine for sale?

blue smoke = oil
black smoke = petrol
white smoke = water

probably done the head gasket, can usually get away with taking the head off swapping the gasket and putting the head back on, then re-adjust valve clearance. follow the car manual, not that hard really, take 4 hrs for someone who has done it before, 2 days first time round probably

only special tool required is torque wrech, oh and feeler gauges

hmmm well is over heating as well if that adds to it im thinking while i have it out may as well rebulid any chance anyone know like a step by step re build ?

not sure but i would think the datsun manual covers the entire rebuild step by step

overheating is typical sign of blown head gasket, if left overheating for some time chances are you head could be stuffed now too

Head Gasket..........$20 part and maybe 2hrs to change. If you haven't overheated the car badly simply changeing the head gasket will fix it.

yeah i did head gasket last time but over heated it and cracked the head hmmm hopefully not again well thanks for ur help guys : )
