hey mate.

when i fitted thai ones to my ute i had to remove a small amount of metal from the inner frame that the light bolts through, where it folded out and met the outer rear quarter.

it was stopping the taillight from sitting in properly, only about 4mm. I just filed it until it didn't interfere with the light.

It's either a problem with the quality of the thai ones, or laziness on the part of datsun/nissan to clean up that area of the bodywork during assembly, as the inner frame overhangs a bit where it's spotwelded. It was the same on a couple of utes i looked at.

Cheers
Dave
