ive been looking at a few options with the engine setup in my speedway car, its a A14 with ALOT of money spent on it, its running a kinsler mechanical injection at the moment which seems to be the most common setup to use, ive thought about changing the engine to a late model yamaha r1 as these are the gun setups at the moment and very easy to get good hp out of as you dont have to touch the motor at all except to run it on methanol and the exhaust setup depanding on what chassis your running. ive seen a few pics on here of custom efi setups but not sure if they were a one off job or not, anybody have one or know where i can buy one? will have bend back around and basicly sit above the tappet cover. here is a pick of what im running now.

mate, talk to sikyne, he does some awesome work and could knock you up an injection manifold as easy as a morning dump.

Ive modified a mitsubishi EFI manifold to suit the a15 head but it would stick out too far for you and i dont think would flow enough to make huge power at the very high rpm that you will be running, its more of a fast street setup designed to work up to the 7000rpm rev limit.

Sounds like a custom unit is what you want, the hardest bit will be the fuel rail, the rest will be easy peasy for someone experienced in that area. Make it out of steel i reckon, then it will be easier if you want to mig on a bracket for something at a later date, Car makers only do aluminium as its cheaper overall than fabrication.

Nice looking set up.
What sort of spec are speedway engines like this and what sort of HP/RPM are they making?

nice looking engine alright. I know the minisprint guys here get good power out of the A-series, a guy I was talking to here claimed to be getting 160hp at the wheels out of his A12. Not sure how much difference the methanol makes but that sounded pretty good to me.
