What would be the diff in Water and Oil Temparature

Hi guys

Just wanted to know what would be the Temperature difference in Water and Oil in Datsun1200,Ex if oil is 80 C the Water temp ? compartively

On the VW engines (I am registered on a VW club site as well) the VW engines run about 20 to 30C higher on the oil temp compared to the water. This however depend on how the car is driven and how hot it is outside.

Yes, with most automotive engines, the oil temp will be 20 degrees F hotter than the water temp.

You don't want the oil to get hotter than 200F degrees.
