How do u get 24 V from 2 12 Volt Batteries

Can any one tell me the correct way to connect 2 12V batteries to get 24 V

with any batteries, to double the voltage you connect them in series.

have done this befor on a car that wouldnt start the 24v seem's to crank the starter motor a bit better :)

Madjordys auto lec yeh hook em in series, if you want more cranking amps hook em up In parallel ;)

Don't forget that one of Datsun1200.com club member hooked up 28 batteries in series and smoked his 1200.
