5 Years ago, I have mounted a 4AG turbo onto a Datsun B110 4 doors, it is quite exciting running less than 10s in 0-400M on Garret T04 turbocharger on Microtech ECU with 3 bars boost, contributing 462HP at the wheel.
People condemn me that 4AG is behind time, now I am trying on rotary Turbo with zero knowledge. It took me 3 months to find spares to strengthen the suspension with S13 front whole set for the front absorber. and a shorten Toyota LandCruiser Axil with LSD 4.6 ratio.
Just completed rebuilding my 13B rotary 3rd generation engine with racing Apex seals..... and ported rotary housing......and mounted on to my Datsun B110 coupe in 2 days. Now I am building the GT42 turbocharger with racing parts. Hopefully I can built the turbo manifold and fitted the turbocharger onto the engine by next week.
Still there is lots of work on installation of fuel pumps & lines, Microtech MT10X wiring...... hope it is a successful last project on my car racing hobbies.
I do have 4 units of Savanna RX7 turbo and one unit of Metal Pearl blue Mazda RX8 turbo Limited Edition specially requested the Japan Mazda factory to build for me. It works pity well without problems for 3 years on 1.5 bar boost but that RX8 is producing excessive heat on water and M-oil temperature perhaps due to Malaysia is a quite hot country.
I am working on this without any guildance and hopefully I can find teachers/experts here to give me advice and precautions when playing with rotary Turbo on small car.
