Hey does any one have a datsun 1200 ute working heater box for sale? As i have to replace my old one any tips on taking it out?

drain water from radiator into a bucket with heater knob set to HOT.
remove air ducting pipes for windscreen
2 bolts in firewall, 2 bolts on top.
carefully remove clip for cable on flappy thing for demister. DONT LOSE CLIP
Disconnect the 'ROOM' bottom flap cable.
unplug the 2 wires for fan speed control resistors.
disconnect hoses that go through firewall.
remove unit from car.

Probably good to get it all out and give it a clean.
Depends if you are replacing the whole box, or just the heater core.

If you are just doing the heater core, 2 phillips screws and a couple of clippy things you can flick off with a small straight blade screwdriver. Getting to the rear hoseclamps can be challenging without removing the whole unit.
