i need to know what cars came out with an A series motor and an electric dizzy , and i need to know why a brand new dizzy would retart the timing instead of advancing it ,and the vac hose isnt hooked up either so its just working on the machanical advance
what would be goin wrong ,and the dizzy is brand new so it isnt likely to be the dizzy

Where did you get it from?
I looked into converting some from another car before realising that they spin the wrong way which would retard the timing because of the way the advance weights work.
This might not be your prob but it does sound sus.
