how much work needs to be done to the brand new A15s to suit a 1200 ?
ive heard that the cam isnt right for a road car and they dont rev as they are an industrial version
and are they as strong as an A15 out of a sunny ? and are they the same gearbox pattern for a 56a or 60a gearbox ?
any help would be great

If you are talking about the a15s they they stuffed into forklifts and such, then yeah they wouldnt be much good for a road car, but thats not a big issue to fix. As far as I know the only real difference is that the cam (like you said) and the manifolds drop down lower to fit inside the engine bays.
Other than that, they are the same i believe.

The brand new A15s fitted to the Vanette have a good cam in them. Only the industrial engines are low-RPM.
