Hi has any one used one of these units on their 1200. Looks like good value to me, Im looking for something like this to fit on my A14 with a e15 pulsar electric dizzy. These units look like a cheap version of the famous MSD.

I have the ProComp Blue fuel pump for my sedan and it looks identical to the Holley pump but at a lot cheaper the price. Ive had no trouble with it. I also us a ProComp distributor for my Mustang. Same thing. The stuff works.

Well that's good to know. If no one has used this same unit, what have they used. I'm looking for something affordable. I like the fact that it has a rev limiter which can be adjusted by the a turn of the knob

The new MSD Streetfire ignition is fairly inexpensive at $130 from Summit Racing. It has the built in dial Rev. Limiter. I use that one and it works great!

I wouldnt use procomp stuff if it was givin to me. Had a dizzy, coil and straight cut gear set in a torana. All brand new. First the coil #OOPS# itself 2 weeks into driving it, then 4 weeks the coil went, and at 6 months made a huge mess through out the sump and rest of engine with smashed up bits of metal from the gears when they let go. Nothing but dramas with there shoit and no warranty on any of it!! They said it all must have been installed incorrectly. Ive been a mechanic for 12 yrs, and think i have a pretty good idea on what im doing.
Dont be fooled by the price. Buy tried and tested gear. MSD and MALLORY offer these kits and there is another i cant think of off the top of my head.
