I have been quoted $29 for the t peices from most places locally and $19 for the 90 deg bends. Its a joke!

Its so i can fit the heater back in the 1200 asap cause its cold!

Bunnings maybe? I've been finding so much good stuff there from clips to little alloy arms that could be used for sidedraught carbs.

Or you could scrounge the wreckers for a handful of fittings, takes time though.

Did you try the boating supplys yet?
But if you want to stay within yr budget Id recommend Coburg trash and treasure at the drive in on Sundays, if not the fittings at least youll find ppl stingier than you are ;)
I bought my fully sick custom valve tap from there for 2 bucks!

boating supply store was same price.

im not being stingy but when its $90 for all the ones i want its a bit silly.
$35 for a t peice is stupid.
last ones i got were $7 each. shop closed down now though as was when i was running on petrol.
