It is very easy to break that button when trying to remove it.

I don't remember how it comes apart.

There is No need to remove the horn button until you test the wiring. Go under the bonnet and test the relay. Measure the ohms of the wire to the steering wheel, and make sure it is earthed when you press the wheel.

I damaged mine trying to get the center hub/horn ring off. I assumed that you could pull or pry it off like on the later Nissan cars. Wrong. You actually have to use an open end 10mm wrench and unscrew three screws from the backside of the wheel hub. It takes patience to do and is kind of a pain in the arse.

1)Push down on the center hub/ horn button
2) As it's being depressed turn left...this will unlock the three plastic retainers that hold the horn button.

Just last month I gave it to my coworkers daughter...She needed a car for college and she loved the car! Plus the bonus is when she tires of the car it comes back to me regardless of the condition!
