Charcoal gray metallic (close to gunmetal gray) is my favorite color. Unfortunately it is the color of wet macadam on an overcast day, so they get in more accidents. Everyone say "I didn't see you coming".

Gunmetal looks great on dattos, but you gotta ask yourself If you want to be the same colour as every second car on the road at the moment? (I have no idea why Black and Grey is the most popular colour here in Australia, not very practical in the summer either)... and as dd states, not the safest colour to be driving around in a car of any size, let alone a Datto.

Still...it looks awesome, especially with chromework.

in usa, top 3 colors for new cars silver, black, white.

For 1200s, black and silver were not options. So you don't see too many. Well except black in Portugal.

Even in sa its a popular color. My opinion is simple, Hows driving the car? What do you like? If you like it go for it. Do something orinenal, paint socking green raising stripes, pink wheels, red calipers (just not everything together) but you get the idea, make it yourown so you smaak it. There are a lot of combos the will make it look great, Anything with big wheels, big sound and a nice tailpipe is a good combo...

You get a nice looking factory BROWN too.....

I understand, im sceptical to make a recomandation (im a wow kinda gay). I saw a std 1200 4door, std brown with a lot more gloss, obviesly not std paint has been repainted but it looked grate, not to many exesarys spoiler, 14" wheels with a strait body and good paintjob, that looked very lekke for me...
the prob is there is a lot of nice different coulers out there and my taste will differ form yours.
it comes down to Your tased Your piont of view and your need

I like them WOW!!!!
