Hey guys

I like the idea of fitting an S13 instrument cluster but I don't think the modern look suits what my car is all about.

So, I'm looking at other options, something a little bit more period that I can retrofit - tacho, speedo, etc as I don't have a tacho and my speedo is about as inaccurate as they come!

Thoughts?

The 120Y has square instruments but I might look at changing the fascia to accept round gauges if there aren't any square options I can fit in behind th existing faceplate

Why not just use the stock square tach?

There's is also a round gauge dash for that came out on some JDM b210s and on pb210s. Hard to find in AU though..

Square 120y tachs came out on the coupes. They can be a little hard to find, but not really that rare or expensive. I've had a few.

LHD tachs differ slightly from RHD tachs, so make sure you get an RHD one.

Could make the s13 cluster fit then fabricate a facia to suit out of abs plastic. What about using the cluster out of the exa that came out with the ca

Yeah the main thing is i'm trying to end up with old-school looking dials, not new looking gauges.

I'm onto the motorbike thing, there are a couple for sale on int'l ebay sites, just gotta wait for something cheap/local. Unfortunately most stuff seems to be round not square so it's just a matter of waiting for something at the right price in the right location!
