I have had a look at the threads from the past about wiring in a tacho, but they all seem to be directed at the Datsun brand tacho and not any of the newer ones. I have the installation instructions but I am still a little confused because I'm sure my loom does not have a 'RPM Signal Wire' in it.
I have some photos of the instructions and it clearly states that the 'Green' wire (obviously just for this tacho?) goes to the RPM signal wire. I'm curious as to where this wire should be wired to. I would have thought to the + side of the 12V coil I have for the electric ignition, however it clearly states that this 'Green' wire should also NOT be touched to a positive source. So does it get wired to the -ive terminal on the coil?

'RPM Signal Wire' is the Coil Negative terminal. Some newer fuel injected cars have a special wire for it, especially ones without a distributor.
