Where is the engine number in car body in a 120y?

Where is the engine number in car body (not on block) in a 120y? That is, how is it determined whether the car has "matching numbers".

If it is anyplace, it will be on the Nissan type plate. However most/all do not have it listed.

The ones I have looked at... only have the engine number on the engine. By contrast, B110s had both numbers on the ID plate.

my engine plate has been scrubed clean..anyone had this before and is it aproblem getting Blue slips in NSW

No the number on the block is there...the ID plate on the fire wall has been scrubed clean that the one that I'am worry about. When I first got the 120y I mentioned it to the RTA lady that the ID plate was hard to read and her Reply was
"Unless someone is Missing a boat mooring no one would STEAL and A12 motor"
I wanted to pick her up and take her home.... a woman that knew about dato's
