Are A14 and A15 cylinder heads interchangeable? I mean I know they will physically fit but what about compression etc?
I just pulled the head off my Vanette (A15) because of a burnt out valve and it's an oval port head so I'd like to use it on my 1200 coupe with my GX carbs but the only head I have to put
back on the Vanette is off an A14.
The A15 has massively dished pistons so I'm guessing it won't upset the compression much but what do ya reckon? Think I'll get away with the A14 carb and intake too? (the A15 intake is
oval port so might not be to happy on a round port head!)
