Do you not have one or is your current sender not working properly?
Just asking cause you can revive most faulty senders very easily.

mine is faulty , had a look at it and seems that the wire binding that is wound around the bakerlite a strandhas broken off! do tell how to revive mine please

If you can reattatch the wire (maybe solder it?) and then clean up the contacts it should work.
