I may be a bit Bia's (slowly building a e10 racer)but I would love to see what others have in the way of E10 Cherrys. especially the race cars / fast cars. Seem a few have popped up on here now.

My car is an early E10 (long thin tail lights) I have fitted up an A14 and 5 speed gearbox from an early model N10 pulsar. I have also fitted the suspension and brakes from the N10. Replaced the front springs with lowered N10 springs and new gas inserts for the struts. the rear also has new shocks and one coil cut out of the springs to bring it down a little. so far my plans is to run it with a set of 40mm dellorto carbs and the hand made extractors I had built for the car.

I hope a few of the other E10 owners can throw up their specs and give me a few ideas of how to improve my car.

Will be good to see some more info on them definatley. Also, you're on my list for my eventual world racing\catching up with everybody with a Datsun trip

13 inch with 205/50-13 semi slicks (will run on car at first).



15s front and 14 rears. will try them later when I get some good tyres for them. May also help with gearing issues if gear box ratio's dont suit certain events

Good that you found a way to fit the 5 speed, I gave up on mine was too much
work to do what I planned. Will use a conventional e series gearbox, not as
good for handling as you equal length though.

Got it all in there nicely had to get the N10 drive shaft shortened though. Have you got any A series powered N10 gearboxs still???

No havent seen them for a while yet but if you are interested Ill keep a look out.
I did come across one a year ago but not sure on its condition as the car looked
pretty thrashed with bald tires so assumed it was worn.
Did it cost much to do the driveshafts?

I think it cost me $55 each. Please do keep an eye out for the Aseies powered N10 gearboxs. even if you find an auto.
