part number for ballast resistor? - FOUND BRAND NEWIES

Hi guys just rung repco and they couldn't find any reference to a ballast resistor.. just wondering if someone had a part number for the resistor for a late model a12 engine?

The coil resistor is the same, early or late engine.

See Ignition Coil

would you happen to know the champion or another make's equivalent because im trying to buy one new and repco and auto one didn't have any record of a modern part equiv?

Hi Ivan thanks so much.. i have found one but was looking for a brand new one i heard you can usually buy them if you know the champion or echin part number..

I'll be selling my a12 modified dizzy and brand new coil soon im so tempted to replace the module in the dizzy to see if thats the prob but dunno.. i wish there was some way to tell if it is the module that is stuffed

just letting you know i found a company that sells the resistors suitable to the gt40r coil and hence the stock 1200 setup.. http://www.pbedynotech.com.au/aboutus.html

based in newcastle nsw and ballast resistors are $10 + postage.
