has anyone had any experience with these little old gals?

all i know is that a CA18DET will slot straight in and they are RWD.

ive recently been offered a trade on my pulsar and im seriously thinking about it cus ive been hanging for RWD for ages, or should i just wait til i get my datto on the road for some RWD relief?

reading your signature indicates the common sense approach would be to not trade

trading your daily for a third project car is gonna end in tears...

people use the s12 as drift and rally cars, can be a cool thing, though buying an s13 is probably cheaper and obviously much easier

it would only be used as a daily driver until my rat ute is on the road.

common sense would be to keep my pulsar as it is worth more i just havent driven a RWD in 2 years i got a little excited.

Aren't the S12's pretty rare? I'd be swapping if it was me, the rarer the car the more it's worth (generally lol) especially if it's in good condition

Hahahaha! Yeah with an FJ they'd be bonkers, I'd defs throw an RB in just for giggles :P I don't reckon they look too bad, RWD, big engine bay, decent chassis and shape, HMMMMMMMMMMMM!

In Japan the RSX S12 Gazelle also came out with an FJ20ET, R200 Longnose IRS LSD Rear end and a mean ass looking bonnet scoop. They were a wicked car, and if I ever bought another Gazelle It would be an RSX.

This is my old S12:

http://datsun1200.com/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?post_id=225495

They are not really worth much money (except the RSX), especially if its just a stocker with a CA20E. They came in two forms, the notchback & the liftback, and they came in both solid rear end with H190 diff, and R180 IRS - both are VERY hard to find LSD's for. I locked my H190 :P

CA18DET will bolt straight in with stocko gearbox, as will SR20DET (with SR gearbox) and FJ20ET (with box) like mine had.

They are a pretty sick car if I do say so myself, I had alot of fun in mine, but if your only looking to trade to make money I wouldnt even bother. N14 will be way easier to sell.

Check out www.s12silvia.com for idea on price, ive seen SR20DET equipped ones go for around 3.5k

Hope this helps.

im not really interested in money just the opportunity to jump back into a RWD daily popped up and looks like a fun lil car to drive.

Hcoupe86 i bet it would have hammered with the FJ in it?
