A 1000 2 door sedan or 180B sedan for an IPRA car? I need almost a complete car to fix up my thou but I have access to a complete 180B sedan that is in reasonable condition. Hmmm. What to do.

To race one you will need mostly non b10 parts.

eg. stanza diff, a12 turbo setup, non factory disc brakes,
roll cage, lexan all round, race seats, custom dash with guages,
no bumpers, gutted doors, no trimmings, rolled inner guards,
6" jellys all round, 175/55/13, custom steering wheel, harness,
custom shocks and leaf springs and the list goes on.

The 180b needs more work than a b10 to get right.
The other way is to find a rallye 1200 like Jmac has bought and
go from there with all the cage ready to save money and run a
destroked 1300 L series crank in Z18et setup for U2L IPRA and
try and pass it as a sunny excellent.

be heaps more parts for the 180b around don, think about body parts in the future, race car might get some damage.

at least you can look at marks 180b mods for an idea on performance and the like.

how much power can an L series make for what money?
Also how light can a 180b get as they are over a tonne.
A sunny coupe would be more suitable and if interested
there might be on for free if its still there in one of my
old ads, the old dude has/had it for a while on his front garden.
His number is on the ad I put up and Lemonhead was going to get
it but changed plans, the old dude is in epping or thereabouts.
