Hi all,
A freind of mine is looking for a worked Datsun 1200 ute, coupe or sedan in decent roadworthy condition.
It doesn't matter what type of motor (A-series, L-series, CA18de or SR20de) as long as it goes reasonably well.
She only has a max budget of about $6000, which I know isn't a lot for a done up Datto these days but I just thought I'd put the word out to see if anyone has something like this that they would consider selling.
Doesn't have to be a show car of course, just something that goes reasonably well and is safe/roadworthy, ie: isn't full of rust and bog, etc...

Lol, no worries Andy. That's not the first time I've been mistaken for DrDatto.... And I'm sure it wont be the last...

The worst part is, he seems to have a bit of a bad rep, which sucks for me because I think a lot of people make that mistake and don't want to help me out... lol.

I can't help with the Datsun hunt but I just wanted to say nice times at Mt Cotton! I was recently reading about the last couple of rounds in the 2010 Tighe series and there is a nice photo of your coupe.

I had a run last year at Mt Cotton in my 1000 which was good fun. I will have to get the ute out there some day too.
