a12 rebuild what pistons??

hi i am planning to rebuild my a12 engine but was wandering what brand pistons and were to get them also normal cast or Hypereutectic pistons also should i increase the compression if so to what also i will be using 98 octane fuel.

Try and get hold of some a10 pistons if you want more compression, cast ones should do the job wouldnt bother with fancy ones

are a10 ones same size and height also i might run a turbo later on so i guse uping compression is just dumb thats y i was wandering if Hypereutectic pistons should be used for turbo engines!

a10 pistons are pretty much the same as a12 except they have no dish. If you plan to run a turbo later just use the standard a12 ones

are pistons hard to find for this engine and the big end bearings are acl brand good?? what other brands are there?

i've got rebuild kits for a12/14/15. a12 come with flat top pistons +060(1.5mm)oversize. kits include; pistons/rings/bearings/gaskets/timing chain & tensioner.or sell separately.a12 kit $420 + freight.cheers

A10 coupe piston ARE A12 pistons:
* 12010-18021 PISTON SET-with piston pin (std size)


But only A12 GX hi-gas models used them. All other A12s used dished pistons.
