I cant remember what the trim layout looks like cuz its been too long since I've seen a window in my car. How many pieces are there on a 73 coupe for both the front & rear windows? Is it 4 or 5 for the front & is the read window the one with the rounded corner pieces?

the glass guy thinks I'm missing something & I'm not sure what.

Thanks!

Hey Steve, thanks. Now I'm just confused - after a little poking around in the wiki & speaking to another Datsun geek - he owns 3 coupes, it looks like the windshield of a coupe doesn't have any corner pieces. As I'd said it'd been so long since I'd taken it out of the car I couldn't remember exactly what it'd looked like & of course i'd not taken any pic's of that part either.

Then I found that pic that you posted that shows corner pieces & it being a front windshield, hence more confused

According to my friend Doug only the rear window on a coupe has corner piece - maybe someone can confirm this & help shed some light on Steve's picture of that windshield, is it Ute only?

the missing corner thought came from the window guy suggesting the front piece wasn't there, maybe I'm missing a rear corner piece instead but since he's got all the pieces I cant tell right now, I'll talk to him on monday.

Thanks Steve, I appreciate the effort - maybe someone will clear up the mystery.

There are two different trims for the Windshield

Early Coupe: single upper piece
Regular Coupe: three-piece upper
