just got given a 82 bluebird with a l20b and auto that i will be putting in my ute what other parts can i use? any help would b great thanx

the H165 diff center can be used if yours also has a H165, the axels are longer so if you wanted a spare set you'd have to get them shortened or just offer them up on aussiebluebirds.com. Also you could use the struts and brakes if you don't mind modding them a little to fit up though R31 struts are shorter which sorts out one issue you'd have with it.

To identify the diff ratio, look under the bonnet:
Open in new window


It will say "HC" (H165) and a two digit number.
For example HC41 is 4.11 gears, and HC37 is 3.7 ratio

This will tell you the original diff for the car, but someone could have changed it.
