Just in case anyone wants to save money for high boost pistons.
The Honda D16 guys have for years been going strong with vitara pistons.
Bloody amazing boost and reliability.
487whp from a 1.6

these pistons have a shorter compression height so will suit
for lowering the comp for boost. There are also 2 valve vitara
pistons which are also super strong.

so which series vitara piston? i found this -

88-00 D-series pin = 19mm
89-01 B-series = 21mm
H-series = 22mm

are they correct and would a series rods be machined to fit the 21-22mm wrist/pin?

YCP brand vitara pistons
All vitara pistons are 19mm pin
2v g16a is 28.1mm comp height
4v g16b is 28.55mm comp height
details from ACL catalogue

Its funny one guys on the forum is saying he wasted his money on forgies :))
They reckon someone will soon crack the 500hp mark with vitaras.
