Southside engine center for a rebuild but ide get rid of the a12 and built an a15 like I am

Carbs ,you can buy of recarb and they are on a manifold and jetted to suit your motor

Neither are cheap but youll kick yourself if you do it on the cheap like I did with my a12

Now im building a hot a15 and using twins ,should go heaps better than my 12 did

If I was to go a bigger engine I'd prob go with an a14 as the a15 does not rev as hard as the a12 or a14 how much are u spending on your a15 including carbs

And they couldn't really sell u a carb pre jetted for your engine for most precise tuning you would have to dyno tune

a 15 is easier to find, and there's no substitute fro Cubic inches.... the rpm difference from 14 to 15 is negligable..

A12 I'm not sure, A15 you should get at least 160hp with a race spec motor.
Mine is supposedly built for 160hp ATFW and its not full race.

160hp not bad. Not a racecar just a weekend cruiser I have a 1200 ute that my father and I are restoring ATM that I bought off my uncle he bought it brand new in 79 and it's nearly ready for a motor was going to go with 1200 but looks like I might have to go with a 1500 so pretty much just a really nice street car to get out On the weekends for fun

Sounds nice !

I mean they sell them roughly jetted to get it running then from there dyno tune it :)

But yes a15 are heaaps better than a12 nothing wrong with an a12 just not as good as an a15 or 14

Should be a good little cruizer when done by the sound of things
