Will have H165 diff will handle it for a while just dont go to silly off the mark. Change ya tunnel mate its less friggin around in the long run even if you do go the 5 speed.

if its driving long distances what does it matter if its manual or auto. once at cruising speed, on the freeway, you tend not to change gear and down shifting from 5th to 4th for hills would be welcome rather than a 4 speed kick down to 3rd or 2nd on a auto.

120y one should do for manual trans but the auto may need a little more room.

120y seems to be the easiet to mate to the 1200 floorpan. not sure on bluey one.

should be able to fit the auto in a 120y tunnel, pretty sure they use the same auto as a 120y anyway

think i looked at the bluebird one for my sedan and decided against it for some reason, but 120y is the best one to use i've found

ute diff is strong enough. even nissan put the H165 behind L20B.

Best tunnel is B110 automatic. Then B210. They both fit the largest Datsun transmissions.
