hey guys

ive got a 1200 ute and it has standard brakes on the back but on the front im pretty sure it has commodore calipers and magna rotors? correct me if im wrong if that combo works or not i cant remember 100% what they are, anyway i think it has a 120y booster now my problem is that i have taken the ute to better brakes and they bled the system and said the brakes are fine but when i drive it i nearly have to put my foot through the firewall before it even starts to pull up and there isnt much of a peddle.

do you guys have any idea what could be my problem? eg bigger booster needed etc? any help would be great.

thanks mitch

Be sure that they are bled properly, they shouldn't feel spongy. Easiest to tell with the engine off. Push and see if they feel hard and linear.

If bled correctly, Bigger piston in the master cylinder (bigger master cylinder). Will make the brakes harder to push though. If they end up too hard you'll need a bigger booster.
