okay so im very keen to upgrade the front brakes on my sedan, i saw the 280zx brake upgrade and it so far looks like the most simple, just a couple of things about it,
does anyone have cad drawings or even just scale drawings or maybe even the actual adaptor plates?
and am i right in saying its the rear discs which are used?
and will the adaptor plates be able to be engineered??
thanks guys, heres the link if you havent seen it also

The S13 upgrade is also pretty simple..

Disc hubs spun down to fit inside the discs, set of adaptors and bolt the calipers on. 250mm (CA18DET, SR20DE 280mm) vented discs that fit under (some) 13"s..

I don't have CAD drawings, but you can buy them from Mike Klotz, comes with the bracket, bolts and lock-tite for $60 USD. He ships to Australia.

Since the brakes come from Pulsar and Bluebird, you find them new or in wreckers.

No machining required, and very much lighter than the other upgrades people are doing.

Yes. And no.

Being a lighter car the heat generated will be a lot less than the car they came off but they are a solid disc which will heat up a lot more than a ventilated disc.
Personally, If you're doing that kind of driving you would probably want to go with a ventilated disc which will possibly add to the cost and complexity of the conversion.

Do the s13 brake swap, simply cos its easier to construct and more parts are available.
