what ever you do... don't cut the harmonic balancer as i had my machined down to just have 2 and what we found is that the center shaft is connected to the small pulley up front, consequently it fell apart, it was a costly exercise...lucky i had a spare....

sum-one was saying that the CA20 mite fit?

i have a few pics on the intercooler (rocketrods 1200)

Have a look at my build thread mate, when I was fitting the ca18 there are alot of pics of the radiator and cooler fitment, if you do it right there is no need to mod or change the balancer, there is plenty of room

I'm doing SR20 rather than CA18 but for the pulley I've ordered a billet aluminium (no, not Ebay!) one piece crank pulley. I'll then get it machined down to be just the water pump/alternator v-belt section (basically making it just a single row pulley) Being a one piece there shouldn't be any dramas with strength or balance. I should have it in a few days so I'll post some pics once it's all done.
The other option is to get a Ross Performance balancer which is single row. Will cost about $550 roughly but the benefit is that they're partly dampened which might give a bit smoother idle but I'm not convinced that this is worth it.

With regards to the intercooler plumbing, just cut it all out! Get rid of all the radiator support panel apart from the section that holds the headlights. Then re-inforce the upper support panel with a bit of 1 inch square tube plus uprights linking this new beam to the lower support panel. Demacoz and Tommo (EDIT- And Wardy!) have good pics of how to do this in their build blogs.
