Hi i was just wondering what a suitable amp rating would be for the relay used in a starter circuit..
I want to protect my new ignition switch.. I have a 30/40amp relay and was just wondering if that is suitable rating to use..
also when wiring the starter relay would the power from the relay get split with one going to the fusebox and one going to the ballast resistor?
Cheers, Tom

5 amps. And the starter circuit comes from the fusebox (not to it).
