I have decided that my EXA radiator is not going to do the job.

First it's not an Auto radiator,
Second it has the outlet on the passenger side
Third it has side tanks - need top and bottom

So I am after one that will fit the same

690mm x 385mm x 37mm

and have a goose-neck as a filler (so the tank can totally fit under the front) ... The CA is well forward(75mm from the firewall) so I could use the g/box mounts on the tunnel

I know I don't want much but before I go look for a custom job I thought that I would ask

here's a pic from my build as to where I am putting it

Exa rad is similar to ca rad size so might get a stock ca auto rad in there. I'm using stock ca manual rad and I didn't mod front as much as yours

just Rang a radiator guy and he recommended moving the bottom hole over to the drivers side and putting a baffle in the middle of the radiator to make the coolant go over the other side and back (approx $120 to modify the EXA one). As for the Auto fluid - get an aftermarket cooler (and find space for it)

yeah i would get your hands on an auto one, then modify it

radiator guys have a catalogue full of all radiators and their dimensions, so if you head to one you could browse for something else

if you have the top outlet on the passenger side its quite easy to make that work with a CA, but if its the bottom one that would be not so good, that really needs to be on drivers side

bottom is on the passenger side which would mean a pipe under the harmonic balancer .... not gonna happen

I ended up taking the EXA radiator to get modified ... move the bottom hole over to the right hand side and put a baffle in the middle to force coolant across the core.

The Radiator place called me yesterday with bad news ... they said that the core needed replacing and that the job was now going to cost $450 rather than $150.

so the radiator is in the bin and the search continues
