It is good to say that If you are newbie in a Forum or website you or in my case I should introduce myself. Well hello there. My name is Mario, living in the states. New project in my life, never into the Nissan or Datsun scene but I have had the bug for Dats all my life. To be fare with my "ancestors" (LOL)I need to mention that within my family I was the only one that never, up until now had sweat, bleed or cry for a Dats or Nissan project. Being all my life in the VW scene and experience a lot of desapointments I guess it is fare to said that finnaly I have come to my senses and decide to what should had being my first or only choice a 1971 1200 Coupe.

I have being browssing the website for a couple of months now and I need to congratulate you guys for such a great job. The information and support provided by most of you it is something to envy. I have never found another website with so much support from the members. Hope I will be able to respond the support I know you guys will provide me. Thanks in advance for eveything and the best of luck with all your projects in life.

PS, Please, BARE with me. I know I will make stupid questions on my way of being as knowledge as most of you are.

Sincerely. Mario Open in new window

Thanks. I just try and it worked. Sorry for the bad quality pictures, I just took them with my cel for a quick pick. In a couple of days I will have some during the day. I start the long project tomorrow. I know is going to be a long way. For now I am just going to work in the A12. Maybe work the head and upgrade to 1400 I am thinking maybe even Turbo. I have a lot of spare parts I can use. For now bodie wise start next week with sand blasting. I will be taking pictures all the way and posted them through out the the project.

Thanks, Mario.

Thanks, Mario.

Glad I'm not the only newbie!

Welcome to the forum man. It always surprises me how open people are on this forum to sharing their knowledge. Good people on here. So don't feel ashamed to ask questions, I do.

Thanks for all you responces and support. I will be posting some pictures on Tuesday. I made some progress at least taking in apart. Hopefully in about two weeks i am done. I already found a place for sandblasting. After that I will feel more at ease. I think that should give me a good idea of how much work i really have. Once again, thanks and good luck to you all.
