hey,

i have got the purge line set up, that just connect to the vacuum on the engine to suck the fumes but thru. But the question is where do i connect the fuel line on the black can for the vapours?

picture shows the purge line an the fuel line which sucks the vapours.

PS: there is also a hole on the bottom of the can

Back into the intake (after turbo, before butterfly, needs one way valve). that's why the charcoal cannister is normally in the engine compartment.

I'm not sure what your asking but I think you want to connect the breather from the fuel tank to the line marked "fuel". It just works by holding petrol vapours in there until the engine's running again and they can be pulled out, the glass wool or whatever it is acts like a petrol sponge.

If you look in emissions control in the wiki it explains how the existing vapour system is set up. From memory you might take the open to atmosphere pipe from the vapour tank and connect that to the "fuel" line on the charcoal cannister.

I'm not sure on a Ute, but the sedan has a maze of pipe under the rear parcel shelf that tee pieces into the air vent line that is the smaller return pipe from the tank to the filler neck. The maze of pipe stops the low pressure fuel from sending fuel out the breather. Newer Sedans have a breather on each side of the top of the tank so the tank can breathe on a full tank of fuel on a hard corner. I expect that is what you'll want to 'vent' back to the carbon cannister. If you don't have a separate vent line, then cut into one of the lines at a high point (not the filler neck), and put a tee-piece in.
