bought some aftermarket door handles for my 1200 coupe and they dont seem to fit into the two square holes it is like the pins that hold handles together are to thick has anyone else had this problem. i could file down the pin but there would be nothing left and i dont want to cut into the doors.

Do mean aftermarket or non-Nissan replacement parts?

If aftermarket, please post photos so we can see what you mean.

I had the same exact problem with an non-geniune brand new ebay handle. I wound up bending the square holes a little to get the thing to fit in there. I got it in but it never really performed the same way as the old handle so I wound up ditching it for a used second hand genuine handle.
