Possibly the least well known of all the 1200 variants. It was Nissan's version of the Basic Transportation Vehicle (BTV), where in Thailand it mostly competed with 3-wheel lite trucks. It was less expensive than the older Vauxhall BTV, the Mini Moke or VW Terra.

The vehicle was a light commercial, powered by the proven 1200 running gear, and designed for a variety of body configurations, ranging from cab-over truck to microbus to delivery van. Production was 40 vehicles per month.

I'll drive it down to my favorite sushi place, while cranking Iggy Pop on the radio...I still have a pair of blue suede Airwalk high tops..............load my vintage motocoss bike in the back and head to the MX track.
