Without Hi-Po Rotors, i.e. Ventilated, cross-drilled, exotic metals etc
"My" suggestion is Organic or Semi-Metallic. Also, there was some heat anti=transfer tape or paste at one time to help keep the calipers as cool as possible.
Other posters will most certainly have a more qualified view but this has worked well for me in the past. Keep in mind that most of my information is,, well ancient to be honest, so double-check my suggestions.
Your cooling ducting to the rotors will impact the "setup" also, as will the type of wheel material and wheel air flow characteristics.
For example, "alloy" wheels like Magnesium and Aluminum will suck up and expel heat faster than steel. Also some have "ventilation" of heat designed into the castings.
An afterthought, going to Dot-5 fluid on "non-anti-lock" vehicles can help with brake fluid boiling. You must totally flush the entire system first, and I suggest new rings for the master and slave cylinders as well as new rubber brake lines.

Yeah I'm thinking a vented setup might b the go with some twin spots but all these 240z stuff is rebuilt and has all new rear h165 brakes and 180b master so was going to try it first and may e build another set just in case

One more thought, keep the rear drums adjusted up
Also, a brake "bias" valve like Nascar uses might be of assistance..
Just do NOT use a "orifice" type valve as this will restrict the back-flow of brake fluid when you release the brakes.

I have some new (still in box) DB 625 RB74 compound 'race brakes' pads here I won't be using, cost me $180 plus postage, $150 and I will pay postage.
Ring 'race brakes' and see if the compound is right for you, I have always used RB74 compound in the rally car.
Just let me know.

I have two sets of Sumitoyo twin spots here, one set I have modded to suit vented rotors, the pads I have fit both calipers which look identical to the ones in your photo's.
Is there two different p/no's for Sumi twin spots?

Well I'm not sure but I think there is two types as as far as I can tell from searching! I'm not sure as they came on the car so I'll have to look at them better, my other problem is I don't even have old pads to match them to :(

I'm pretty sure there is only one pad for them.
I have some old pads here destined for the bin, pm me your address and I will send one down to see if it fits, if it does and you want my new pads, they're yours, if it doesn't fit it will help you get ones that do.
