Hi guys, i have bought some new tail lights off ebay for my 1200 ute they are non genuine. I wired them up like the originals using the original plug because the new plug on them didnt fit now i am having problems with the lights when the parkers and blinkers are on the park light flashes also when the park light is on the reverse and blinker light is on but very dim has anyone used these lights or have any ideas on whats goin on

most likely an earth problem, ceck the contact points for the earth are clean etc

i had the same problem when i did mine, the mistake i was making was testing with the assembly out of the car. turns out to earth them properly they have to be bolted in! try that?

cleaned the earths up still the same problem
