Where can I get Speights Beer in Melbourne?

I have found one place so far and it's running out fast. Acland Cellars in St Kilda.

But where else and why have the powers at be decided in their ultimate wisdom to stop importing New Zealands number 1 selling beer all of a sudden? Flucking spastics.

I was drinking speights at a pub earlier tonight.
It used to be the Beer of the south. I was drinking with some yokels in a pub in the deep south back in '98. One of them told me what he'd heard sepights stands for.
Special Piss Drunk In Great Hotels Throughout Southland. Or,
Some People Enjoy It God Hates The Sh1t. (The second one was from a dodgey Maori guy who didn't like it.
On special at the supermarket, I can buy it for $22 for an 18 pack.
But it's not my 1st choice anymore.

Given how many Kiwi's there are in OZ, there's probably a reasonable market for out beers accross the ditch.

A few pubs in Richmond have it behind the bar, along with other quality drops like Lion Red and Tui!

I think I saw it at the Mountainview last time I was there for the rugby??

Yeah Bart, I'm converted. It is by far one of the best beers I've ever had, next to Cafferys. But they always stop getting it just after my taste buds discover it. That could start a reformed alcoholic drinking again. Seriously...

You could just get a really long hose and put it on tap from across the ditch. Watch out for those golf balls and giant squid with all that sucking though.

best thing was when the Rugby World Cup was in town, we got our local (had 95% kiwi's drinking there) to import Speights by the keg, they had a couple left over after and we snagged one for a house party, mmm Speights on tap in the kitchen, soo good..

The things we take for granted aye.
Although after years of extensive feild testing, I now lean more towards a cheaper beer. It isn't quite so hard on the head. And as I age, I'm finding more and more that my head can't take the big nights anymore. Might have to cut down a bit. Hahahahahahahahahahaha. Yeah right.

Yeah maybe you should cut down on head, at least drinking the cheap stuff will wash out the taste
