1971 Datsun 1200 UTE For SALE

Alright guys, you know the game. So here is the run down.

I have my 1971 datsun 1200 ute for sale.

The car is currently just a rolling chassis, plan was to put in the L18 but got canned because the engine was fried and would set me back way too much to get it repaired.

The car was about to get sent out to be soda blasted and primed. Was looking to paint car a saitin black, so;

Pro's
- Every nut and bolt has been tagged and ziplock bagged to know exactly where they go
- The lume has been tagged and fixed so its pritty much just plug and play
-I have 2xA12 engines that i have for the car both with 4 speed box's (both gearbox's are running great) - (Engines: One has 107,000 miles on it and the other i cant remember.)
- New drivers side door and tailgate
-new Taillights
-new front crome
- 3 down drapht carburetors
- All parts are working
- Only surface rust on under body of the car, All panels are in excellent condition (except passenger floor pan)
- Body is straight
- TRX wheels
- New water pump
- New Tires
- New Drum Brake pad's
- Door Trims are still in good condition



Con's
- Needs a new battery
- Steering box could do with being reconditioned
- Needs a new alternator - It works fine currently just i had a raditor hose come off and pour its fluid over the alternator, so not sure how long it will stay good.
- Rust in floor pan - easy fix very small hole's
- Needs new rubbers for door's, and windows
- The front bushes's need replacement (i.e get a rebuilt front end from maddat)
- Hoses need replacement
- Being a 71 it has drum's all 4 wheels (possible front brake upgrade)
- Original seats have tear's in them
- Dash cracked :(
- Car needs a good paint
AND THE WORST CON IS,
- I NEED THE TAIL SHAFT FROM THIS DATSUN BECAUSE MY OTHER ONE DIED IN MY CURRENT A15 SETUP - Sorry guys

But other than that the car has only been off the road for 2-3 months it still has a ACT rego that i have not cancelled until may. So if you wanted to keep the car looking ghetto and put it back together rego is still their.

Regretful sale but just don't have the room to keep both datsun's and the money to finish them both.
