main places are the rear quarters, the bottom and top of the front widscreen and inside the box plenum thingy ( were the water goes not sure of name..), front doors the top frame from the roof gutter inside is were it will rust, also front panels at the bottom were it ends it will rust behind the panel, also in the wagons the rear boot when opened will rust on top rail sides and under the top plastic cover from the inside.

That's the main places they rust but basically they rust every were so look out! sorry about the crappy explanation.....

The difference is the Falcon will rust in the same place for 8 years before it perforates, the Datto will be see through after 2!
The panels are seriously thick compared to the Datsuns.
My XF Ute has it everywhere but it doesn't seem to get any worse.

besides the rust these engines 6cyl 250 xflows and the v8's are really reliable my xf wagon has been used for a a lot of towing and pulling tree stumps in its life and i can say it dosn't give up. also its great for towing as most of its torque is low in the rev range.
