Hi everyone, a while back I mentioned that as far as gearbox oil goes, a strong recommendation to me from someone who makes me look like the village idiot, and has experience with high level racing, maintaining a fleet, agricultural machinery (so practically everything)

Anyway - that recommendation was shell donax TD

Shell recently (last 12 months or so) changed their product range names, considerably.

I've now found out the 'new' name for this stuff.

Shell Spirax S4 TXM

AS far as I can find out, it's only available in either a 20L or 209L (pretty much like 'the old' 44 gallon drum, UK gallons for North American readers!)

I'll update this post when I get prices, but it won't be until after the Easter break
