you can plug weld. I looked into getting a spot welder, not really worth it if you're not going to be doing alot (might be worth fitting the gaurds preping them and taking the car somewhere to get someone to just do the spot welds?), i took both rear quarters off of my ute and just plug welded them all back on, ground em off with the 100mm grinder when i was done. came up a treat. if the grinds dont come up perfect you can always slap a very light coat of bog along to get that ultra smoothness i guess....

Upol strong hold panel adhesive... Do some research on this stuff. I used the 60 minute glue on both my rear quarters and sills... It's a 2 part panel glue with glass beads in it so it doesn't all squeez out when clamped in position.. No welding no warping no grinding.... Perfecto! This stuff is quit expensive and most of the new cars are out together with this stuff these days... Was about $80 for 200ml and $40 for the gun which did one silk and rear quarter plus I had some extra left over..,

Yeh man of course did you read it? I used UPOL..... 60 minute weld bond adhesive.,.. Take a look at a new car and see how much of its actually glued together... U will be surprised ;) I was told by my panel beater that he would be using panel adhesive to glue the new panels on..., so I did it myself

advertisement guy glued a cortina to a billboard to show its strength. and then they glued another cortina on top of that cortina. so gluing panel is trivial matter...

that is London in '83
