Hey guys Im considering selling the engine setup out of my S13...
I bought this car off a mate and know its history. I was planning to put it in my datsun but i think I may just go non turbo.

It was tuned almost 3 years ago and makes 247kw at the rear wheels (400hp at the flywheel) the dyno sheet has the incorrect date)

It runs E85 and the power delivery is insane

The package includes a the gearbox, intercooler and radiator and plumbing.
Also included is the full wiring which has been separated from the cars loom and will be very simple to transplant into a datto. All relays and circuit breakers are extremely neat and reliable.

Freshly rebuilt CA18DET (done just before the tune and to factory spec)
Custom intake plenum with 70mm throttle body and full velocity stacks
1200cc injectors and modified fuel rail
Custom hi mount exhaust manifold
TD05 twin scroll turbo
Tial External waste gate
Unsure of camshaft specs
Haltech E8 ecu with full milspec loom and circuit breakers
Exceedy race spec clutch
5-Speed S13 gearbox
Triple core alloy radiator with plumbing
Bar and fin intercooler with all plumbing

The motor is currently running in the car now so it can be seen and heard running and driving. It has been an extremely reliable engine and will continue to be for a long time.

$5000

Pm me with questions or your phone number if you are a serious buyer and I will call you.

Please don't fill this thread with useless comments.

Cheers guys

Just to clarify, would my post be considered to be a "useless comment"?

Usually the stock ca18de is strong enough for high hp and rpm but would you know if it has stock or custom rods and pistons?

Hey guys thanks for your input and questions. Useless comments include people saying that a ca18 cant handle that much power and or boost etc etc when they don't have professional knowledge or experience tuning engines especially when using E85.

The plenum will fit however the external waste gate will need to be repositioned. This is not an expensive or complex job.

As far as the internals of the engine go. Its has standard rods and pistons etc. High quality piston rings and bearings have been used. The main weak-point of any CA18 is the head gasket. Although if the motor doesn't see temperatures above its normal operating limit this is never a problem. This is why a triple core radiator has been used.

The tuning of this engine is done very well and the parts have been selected to make the overall flow and efficiently of the motor as good as it can be. Combining this setup with the cooling qualities and high octane of E85 is how it makes such high power reliably.

Yeh the price is fair considering that is what some people spend on an A series rebuild these days...
