New ute idler arm- only attempted install not used
Guest_
Ok bought a new idler arm for a 1200 sedan - who knew there were two types?

So will swap for money or two new inner stanza tie rods or a battery box

Will post aus wide for a bag cost of $8 I think they are.

Only difference is where the mounting holes are. 120y, stanza and late utes use these appatently, early models the holes are reversed(so where this is low on bracket is high on car)

The 1997 Nissan 1200 catalog says all 1200 utes used the same as sedan
48530-H1000 ASSY-IDLER STEERING [RHD]
But the catalog has been wrong before.

Your photo looks like my LHD 1200 sedan. High and Low.

What years your ute dd? There should be no difference from left to right hand drive either from what im told.
It hole closest to the cabin needs to be don low and the one closest to the front of csr up high I believe

I try not to believe fact everything I'm told. Sometime I'm even wrong.

Nissan says (from the parts catalog):
48530-H1000 ASSY-IDLER STEERING [Japan ute]
48530-H1600 ASSY-IDLER STEERING [USA catalog]
I just double-checked this

Let me run out and take photos ...
