Good luck with that. I would suggest you get a dash skin re done. There's a few ppl that do them, I would put. Post up about finding a good one, they don't come cheap tho around the 400 mark from memory...
As for your hood lining I brought one for like 70 dollars off of eBay an it was pretty rubbish. Tried to fit the mongrel of a thing and ended up recking it... If you do buy one I would highly recommend having a professional trimmer fit it....
(I have an excellent condition hood lining I think it's grey valuor (no idea how to spell it lol.) that's still in a donor ute of mine.)

Thanks mate, I thought the most. I have retrimed a dash before for a mate and it came up really good. Just time consuming. I'll probably just end up doing it myself. As I will be selling my datsun 1200 ute ca18det at the end of the year, I don't want someone placing a lower bid due to a crapy dash.

Interesting fact about that headlining. I was just looking on ebay for those aftermarket ones. So you think there rubbish? Not worth buying one? Cause I can only get one for $150.

Don't get me wrong they look fine but just a prick to fit, because they're pre made they need to be fitted with no faults and there is a very small line for errors. I also had a roof sky light which made it twice as difficult, in the end we came to the conclusion it just wasn't going to fit with a sky light in. I just got one custome made yes i lost money but well worth gettig one made, came out awesome.

Overall they're an ok product however I would highly recommend having someone fit it. I was quoted around the 700 mark forsome of the high class hot rod trimming shops but paid a lot less for the bloke o went to. If I were you I'd have a look around to see how much one will be custome done.

Na ebay one is buggered. Have another one already in a ute was a custome trim I think. Ill take a couple pics of it before i pull it out. Will get em to ya tonight.
