Im wondering if you were to pick up the back of a ute and put the wheels down on scales,
what would it weigh, roughly.

A lot less then the front.

Guesstimate 100kg engine 30 gbox rad 4 battery 15 etc issue from 750 kg bout 250 for the rear part maybe 300

i have a whole rear section of a ute at home.. just the tray really. i would estimate the weight of the tray to be around 100-130kg roughly with no diff or wheels fuel tank. leafs etc etc

i had my ute weighed on a split axle weigh-bridge for engineering.
it weighed 430kg on the front axle, and 300kg on the rear. pre-conversion
